I take a straight forward approach to therapy, and believe our lives are enriched when we broaden our ambit and embrace our potential.
Let’s be real, you probably didn’t think you’d be at the point of talking to a stranger about your life. Maybe you’ve read up on some things or tiptoed around conversations, or listened to podcasts on your commute, but nothing is quite giving you what you’re looking for. You’re at your wit’s end, so you figure you may as well see what this therapy thing is all about. Life has to feel more fulfilling than this, right?
There are so many contributing factors to our health and well-being, and successful therapy requires openness to exploration of these factors. I can be the one you turn to when you feel like your only choices right now are to scream into the void or to keep stuffing parts of yourself deep, deep within.
I’m a bilingual and bicultural Latina. I approach each interaction with collaboration in mind and will be an actively engaged partner in your journey. I tailor my knowledge of evidenced-based approaches to meet the specific needs of my clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or parenting issues. I work best with bright, motivated, insightful folks who are struggling to make sense of how they can enjoy reciprocal relationships and get unstuck in life while being true to themselves and their values. Together, we can create a space where you can finally be yourself, take the time to explore the fullness of your thoughts, experiences and values, learn how to choose differently and be genuine in your relationships.
